the blackburn

Great article on fishing in the Falkland Islands by Katie Liddell but she missed one of the big rivers out and that is the Blackburn River which is on West Falkland north east from Hill Cove. This river is in a great location sheltered from the south and west is on par with San Carlos, Murrell, Warrah and Chartres rivers. There is a wide part with an island in it, which is called the lake it is here were the big fish hang out. The river is not well known and there are restrictions in how many fishermen can fish there at any one time.
