On Date: 5/12/2017

New IGFA World Record Submissions The IGFA has recently received the following world record submissions: Northern pike from Sweden Brown trout from Vermont, USA Barramundi from Australia Payara from Brazil School Up for Forage Fish
Forage fish like menhaden, pinfish, and mullet drive marine ecosystems by serving as a food source for larger fish, marine mammals, and coastal water birds. Science shows that forage fish can be vulnerable to environmental and fishing pressures, and when their populations decline, so can the health of their predators.
The IGFA is currently running a campaign to raise $15,000 by year's end to help fund scientists as they work to answer important questions about these important forage fish. Join the "school" today by making a 100% tax-deductible contribution!
