Your Support for Welsh Fishing Clubs and Rivers is Making Waves

Written By: Reuben Woodford On Date: 5/12/2017 Dear Friends, Your support for Welsh Fishing and standing up for fair and balanced policies for Welsh fisheries is making a difference. I urge you, please keep up the effort to encourage others to sign this petition. We are currently 871 strong, but the reality is that there are thousands and thousands of fishermen and community members whos views are reflcted in our shared request to Welsh Government. It is only through discussion, sharing of the petition and through gathering further signatures that we can illustrate this fact to our assembly members and will stand a chance of influencing future policy. You....collectively can be the difference between success and failure. Over the weekend, I both collected hard copy signatures and details of supporters and have entered details received from other supporters who have taken hard copy petitions into their communities. Lots of people are working hard to capture the vital signatures we need. We know not everyone is comfortable to sign an online petition, but I have found, very few people are hesitant to support a petition in real life, especially when you have explained what the impact of NRWs proposed policies is likely to be. If you can, please gather further signatures from your community and enter them onto the online petition.
