A whole summer full of fishing starts this weekend!
Along with Take a Friend Fishing, Father's Day and the start of the coarse fishing season on rivers this weekend, there are hundreds of FREE fun, safe and friendly angling events at www.getfishing.org.uk to get the whole family fishing. A few hours by the waterside are a great way to spend time together. All the events include everything you need, so just turn up and get fishing! Win £250 - it only takes 3 minutes!

If you go fishing independently of these events you'll need to get a fishing licence first at
www.gov.uk/fishing-licences/buy-a-fishing-licence
Juniors still need to register and receive a licence in order to fish but the licence will be free.
