Hunting and fishing show is becoming the biggest exhibition of its kind in the region There is a growing appetite for new products amongst anglers in central and eastern Europe – and there is no better show for reaching these active buyers than FeHoVa in Budapest. A record 56,000 outdoor sportsmen attended FeHoVa last year, keen to see the latest products on offer.
Of those, nearly half – 44% (24,640) – went fishing, 66% of whom attended the show specifically to buy products from exhibitors at the event. These figures show why FeHoVa is the region's fastest-growing show and a superb opportunity for manufacturers to get their products in front of product-hungry fishermen.
Illustrious line-up of big brands
Already the show boasts an illustrious line-up of international fishing tackle manufacturers including Rapala, Shimano, Cormoran, Trabucco, Energofish, Spro, Okuma, Prologic, Storm, Monster-Liver, Klárik, WaterLand, VMC, Savage Gear, Nash, Timár Mix, Nevis, Gamakatsu, Walter Serie and Haldorado.
Last year 300 exhibitors from 18 countries displayed their products and services over the course of the three-day event. The fishing tackle industry was represented by over 50 manufacturers from Hungary and beyond, including Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia.

Fishing continues to play a major role in FeHoVa. Almost half of the visitors at last year’s show were anglers (24,640). These visitors are on a mission to find the latest tackle and bait, learn about new techniques, collect information on fishing trips and top venues as well as meet with some of the region’s best-known fishermen.
