IGMR Tagging Action in Magdalena Bay
As part of the IGFA Great Marlin Race, six satellite tags were deployed during the recent red hot striped marlin bite in Magdalena Bay, Mexico. Check out this video of a tag sponsored by the Tuna Club of Avalon being deployed on a healthy striped marlin!

IGFA & NPS Partner on Youth Education
The IGFA and the National Parks Service (NPS) have recently partnered on a new initiative to teach kids to fish at National Parks throughout the southeastern United States. Made possible in part by a grant from the National Park Foundation, the program anticipates reaching at least 6,000 Junior Rangers and their families in the first year of the program, which will be counted towards the IGFA's initiative to teach 100,000 kids to fish by the end of 2019.

A highly accomplished big game angler and ardent promoter of the sport, Johnson has left an indelible mark on the international angling community.
