Highlights:
This season has been better, than previous years, in more ways than one, a few more salmon seen and caught, mostly all returned, the sea trout run has significantly improved, with fish well over the 8lb caught, large shoals of herling have been seen and there has been some fantastic work carried out in tribuitaries and the main river by The Cumbrian Rivers Foundation, along with Gosforth Anglers and the National Trust.
