The city of Toronto and the CN Tower (the world’s tallest free-standing building) are only a 90 minute drive, and for those wishing to visit the USA, the border is only 2 miles away! In fact there’s so much to see and do here that the hardest part of your stay will be deciding whether to catch more fish, or to take in any of the vast number of local sights and attractions. Also, easy access to and from Toronto, Hamilton, and Buffalo International Airports means you won’t waste much time between touchdown on the tarmac and trolling for salmon!
Joe O'Donnell was raised practically on the beach in Knott-End-on Sea, on the North West coast of England. He's been a fishing fanatic since he first wet a line at the tender age of 4. After nearly 20 years spent travelling (and fishing!) all of the world's oceans, and with 40 years of obsessive angling experience under his belt, he finally settled in Canada in 1998 where he turned his attention to fishing the mighty Niagara River and the Lake Ontario for trophy salmon, trout, carp and smallmouth bass. He now runs Natural Wonders Angling Adventures -fishing holidays specifically catering to UK anglers "who wish to sample "a glimpse of heaven" as he puts it.
