Daiwa celebrated its sixtieth birthday by winning three first places in this evening’s EFTTEX Best New Product Awards. The Japanese brand cemented its reputation as one of the world’s finest reel makers by winning both the Fixed Spool and Multiplier categories with its Exist LT and 18 Ryoga respectively – before making it a triple success by adding the award for Best Luggage for the Prorex Folding XL Lure Bucket.
Another big brand popping the champagne corks at EFTTA’s Gala Dinner was Rapala VMC. The Finnish manufacturer secured the Hard Lure award with its Super Shadow Rap, as well as topping the Braid category with Rapala VMC 131. It was also a memorable night for US exhibitor R.L. Winston.
