LAST CHANCE RODS FOR STEELHEAD AND MEXICO
Exclusive steelhead fishing on the upper Nass and tributaries, British Columbia Farlows Travel works with renowned guide, Derek Barber, who operates a small lodge on the upper Nass, BC. The fishing is possibly the last completely intact steelhead habitat left in North America, with no development of any kind and the camp only accessible by a helicopter flight from Smithers, some 100 miles away.
We now have just two rods left next season, for the week 17th to 24th September 2019. This is peak arrival time for the bulk of the run and fresh fish will be arriving daily. We’ll be fishing dry flies when conditions allow, but will generally be using floating lines or light tips with wet flies in very pleasant fall-like fishing conditions.
The price is US$8,500 per rod, based on single accommodation and shared guide. We are the exclusive agent in Europe for this lodge and there is a huge demand from those in the know, so we do not expect these rods to hang around!

Located within the Sian Ka'an Reserve in the heart of Ascension Bay, Mexico, the Punta Allen Fishing Club offers exceptional flats fishing for permit, bonefish and tarpon. It’s the perfect destination at which to learn the basics of tropical sal****er fly fishing, or to improve your skills, with a qualified instructor and experienced local guides on hand at all times.
The price is from US$2,500 per person, based on a shared twin room, shared boat, seven nights’ full board and accommodation and six days’ tuition and guided fishing. Single rooms are available for a small supplement.
