Anthony Creswell and his father in 1988 took there small business of smoking a few salmon for friends a local fisherman caught on the Bandon, Argideen, Blackwater, and turned it into to a successful company and now it has become one of the world’s leading companies for producing Smoked Salmon.1998 Anthony took over from his father and carried on leading Ummera into the 20th Century, they have moved premises 1km upstream of its current location on the River Argideen; this will enable Ummera to move into the next decade with the confidence that its quality will be second to none.
