VermiTech Ltd (Services)
vermi1.jpg VermiTech Limited Has been working on the disposal of organic waste and sewage sludge etc. for the past 7 years and during the past 3 years has patented the Vermicomposting machine which will take g.h.w. right through to sewage sludge. Three years ago Anglian Water wanted to look into VermiTech’s methods, which resulted in VermiTech putting in a test bed at North Hycombe for Anglian Water. This bed has proven to be a great success and does approx. 500kgs per day.A dendrobaena worm will reduce its own body weight of waste every day; therefore a tonne of worms can reduce a tonne of waste every day. Results form a straight line graph. Worm-processed material is spent by worm standards but it is ‘worms castings’ by ours. Worm castings is a highly effective and proven fertiliser not a compost and could sell here as it does in America in small bags bringing the value of the ‘VermiGold’ well up from its bulk sale price of around £250 to £300 per tonne.Prices: Dendrobaena 1 Kilo of worms £20-001/2 Kilo of worms £12-001/4 Kilo of worms £6-00P&P £3-95
