The series Passion for angling has to be one of the finest pieces of work ever created in the world of angling, from the huge skill of Hugh Miles, came forth a master piece that not only appealed to all anglers but ardent non anglers were captivated by this sympathetic and often humorous look at angling, unless Hugh dusts of his camera once again, I doubt if his efforts and work can be bettered.

Why catch fish if you put them back? What is the point of sitting out in the cold knowing that you might not catch anything. Do I need to read 'tackle on the test' in order to select a prefered box to keep my floats in? Why not join a flood lit astro turfed all season venue with xtra large carp in order to get the best out of fishing? Passion for Angling has the answer to all of these questions and goes on to capture and reflect upon every known quality and magic that can be found through fishing. Passion for Angling gives a unique insight into angling that should be warmly recieved by photographers, fisherman, environmentalists, animal rights activists, angry wives, social workers and rod pod noddys alike. Passion for Angling has vindicated my life long obsession. It shows that angling is so much more than owning the best equipment, catching the largest fish or even catching anything at all. It teaches us how to make time stand still and be sucked into the real world that lies behind the spreading of our concrete.
