River Diaries (Books and Videos)
Following on (apart from the mysterious 'missing' season) from the superb Four Seasons, here is another fascinating insight into the private diaries of Britain's greatest angling eccentric, and arguably its finest contemporary angling writer. The book covers the seasons from June 1982 to March 1986, when the author turned his attention away from carp to spend more time on beautiful southern English rivers like the Avon, Kennet and Rother. Illustrated by the author, each numbered book has real tea-leaf end-papers, a tip-in on the front cover, and a signed book plate.
