Brady Bags (Tackle)
I had almost forgotten about Brady bags, until I received a press releases from the master angling bag makers themselves a couple of weeks back, suggesting Brady bags as an excellent Xmas gift idea and reminded me of receiving a Salmon Brady bag, some 35 odd years ago as a prized Xmas gift from my parents, this reminder had me scurrying to the study, where my old trusted Brady bag lay gathering dust, after many years of good service but still in excellent condition, I retired it some years ago, feeling it should become part of my collection of split cane rods and old Mitchell reels, maybe I should give it the odd trip out when next I grace the banks of a fine Scottish river.But now I have a brand new Ariel Trout Bag, which no doubt looking at the quality and workmanship of this fine fishing bag will last me another “god willing” 30 years before it joins my growing collection Ariel Trout SmallBest two-ply laminated canvas, washable detachable rubber lining, bridle leather trim, brass fittings, adjustable web shoulder strap, quick release flap, front pockets with flaps and net ring.

Brady Gelderburn Bag by Huw Williams

I've had my gelderburn bag for 28 years and apart from being a superb fishing bag, it also serves as a flight bag, and the carrier of my library books. Apart from a couple of liners it is as good as new except it now has a patina that can only develop after years of constant use, falling into peat bogs and sloshing about in the bottom of leaky boats.Super quality and a pleasure to use and own.
