Angling Methods

The River Moy offers a variety of fishing to the angler. However, the method deployed depends on water conditions. High water conditions favour angling with the worm and spinner, where as lower water conditions favour fly fishing as the more effective and attractive method.

Certain areas on the association water are designated fly only which restricts fishing to fly fishing with a fly rod and reel. Fly fishing by way of bubble or other means is not permitted.

NB. SHRIMPING AND PRAWNING ARE STRICTLY
PROHIBITED ON ASSOCIATION WATER.
