More Info:
Some of the best fishing in Britain is on our doorstep. The Irfon flows through our grounds and has first class Grayling, Trout and Coarse Fish. The largest salmon in recent years weighed 38lbs!

In addition we have two guest rods on the River Wye. This fishing is complimentary to residents.

Llyn Arlach, a first class trout fishery, is next to the hotel, and other stillwaters such as the Elan Valley and Llyn Gwynne are a short drive away.

For the coarse fisherman, the rivers are full of chub, dace, pike and perch. Barbel are also appearing in increasing numbers as they move up from the middle reaches of the Wye. Good carp fishing can be found locally at Llandrindod and other lakes.
